Investigative News editorial team
Who we are

Independent journalism is not a luxury. It's a necessity.

Investigative News was founded on a single conviction: that the public deserves to know what the powerful would rather keep hidden.

Mission

Our mission

We exist to hold governments, corporations, and institutions accountable — through rigorous, evidence-based reporting that follows the facts wherever they lead.

We are reader-funded and editorially independent. We accept no advertising from political parties, governments, or corporations with a stake in our coverage. Our only obligation is to the truth and to the people who read us.

Since our founding, we have broken stories that have led to parliamentary inquiries, corporate resignations, and landmark legal rulings. We do not chase clicks. We chase accountability.

What we stand for

Our editorial values

Independence

No government funding. No corporate advertising. No agenda but the public interest.

Rigour

Every claim is verified. Every source is protected. Every story is reviewed by senior editors before publication.

Transparency

We publish our methodology, disclose our funding sources, and correct errors promptly and prominently.

Courage

We publish stories that others won't. We stand behind our journalists when they face legal pressure or threats.

Funding

How we are funded

Support our journalism

Investigative News is funded entirely by readers like you. Subscriptions and one-time donations cover our editorial costs, legal fees, and the time it takes to do this work properly.

We do not accept money from governments, political parties, or corporations. We do not run advertising. We do not take sponsored content. This is what editorial independence looks like.
